R51/3 Brakes

I have a 1954 R51/3 which at some point had the duplex hubs/wheels replaced with the older simplex style. Can anyone advise what is necessary to return to the duplex setup? The rear end has also been replaced with that of an R67/2 so maybe this necessitated the simplex hubs?
