Hi,
When I opened the generator of my R51/2 project none of the 51 and 61 wires were not connected. Where do they go on the regulator?

I bought the R71 ignition but decided against fitting it. I realised that as the cable is on the other side the timing goes the other way around! It's not all waste as I could use most parts to rebuild the old ignition.

R51 vs R51/2 ignition
I was looking at a replacement for my R51/2 ignition and found one for a R51 on ebay. But it looked liked is was mirrored. The control cable exiting on the right hand side instead on the left. Is the picture on ebay wrong? Or is this one of the more subtle difference between the R51 and R51/2? And l...
