Pillion seat rack combo

Does anyone know if there is supposed to be a rubber gasket between fender and rack on which the pillion seat mounts. If yes where can I get one or do I have to make my own?

I have not seen a rubber gasket for use under the rack. I used four of the rubber washers that are used in mounting a /5 front fender.

Thanks Allen. I just found part #52 51 7002101 described as "pad strap" in the auxiliary catalogue I have. There is a strikeout bar across it meaning I think that it was discontinued. So in the absence of one, I guess I will make my own from a rubber gasket sheet I have. Thanks for response.

Correct observations. However, 52 51 7002101 was made out of simple 0,5mm gasket paper, and not rubber.

Thanks Mark...so gasket paper it will be. Likely better than rubber as the latter tends to crackand dry in the long run.
