Hello friends!Please ,I need to know the thickness of the piston rings for a R69 1960, and if its posible the number of the pieces ,to order.Thanks

Compression and nose rings are 2mm thick, oil scraper ring is 4 mm thick. We would highl recommend that you obtain a work shop manual (01 59 9 099 176), and the original BMW parts catalogue for R26 to R69S models (01 09 9 099 161).

Best bet is to order two piston ring sets and don't forget to state for what diameter piston or bore.
