I prefer to use NOS parts to restore my '57 R26 - what suppliers are other people using?

NOS supplier?
Re: NOS supplier?
Hi David,
What is a NOS supplier?
There are so many suppliers of old BMW parts it might be a help if we knew the sort of things you are looking for.

Re: NOS supplier?
NOS parts are "new" (unused) old stock". Maybe one of the German suppliers has some NOS parts, but certainly you will not be able to restore the whole bike with NOS parts. I have only found a few NOS parts for my bikes, here and there, now and then.
Your email address suggests you will have parts shipped to a US delivery address. If you can inventory your needs and make up a large order, say over $150, you will save money by ordering the parts from Huggett here. If you place a small order, the shipping cost will outweigh the savings, so you may as well order from Bench Mark Works.

Re: NOS supplier?
sadly there is not that much pre 69 NOS BMW stuff left-most of it is new manufacture now-the last big cache in the UK was several years ago from Markhouse motorcycles-that went to Holland I think
