Sidecar springs
Re: Sidecar springs
I had an R69S that I put sidecar springs on, and I had two rear ends and two rear wheels. I could completely change from solo to sidecar, or the other way, in an hour. When riding solo with the sidecar springs, they felt good. Not too stiff.
Re: Sidecar springs
Allen,
Thanks for info. Do you know anyone who has a 26/6 bevel gear set and or complete hub available for sidecar mounting? I just ordered the springs from Mark Huggett!

Sidecar springs
Mark,
I have a 1967 R69S. I want to change the springs for sidecar mounting. Your parts catalogue mentions 6,3 mm dia for front and 7,6 mm for rear. The solo springs I have are from what I can gather about 5,0 and 6,0 respectively. The 7,6 mm must be almost rigid! Is there an error in the catalogue or are my measurements incorrect-?

Re: Sidecar springs
Hi Pierre
Without dashing into the store and measuring the springs myself, I would say that your measurements are correct. There may be errors in our catalogue, but that is not one of them.
Best regards,
Mark
