Hello Mark
The steel brake linings of the front and rear hubs of my r25/3 are scored. Can they be machined on a lathe, the liners replaced or do the hubs have to be renewed ?
many thanks
Ben

Re: Front and rear wheel hubs
Hi Ben
The hubs can be turned out on a lathe with no problem. Prefably on a large lathe as it is best to turn out the hubs without removing spokes and rims. If you want to mount new rims and spokes, do this first, and then turn out the lathes. Don't forget to mount new brake linings on the brake shoes.

Mark
