Hi Pierre,

I'm not sure whether you have discovered this is not, but on Craig Vechorik tech page he makes reference to a 12 volt alternator swap that requires very little modification. Here is what he says.

Also, VERY soon I will be testing a prototype, 12-volt alternator that will have a built-in voltage regulator and diode board, and will require NO modifications to the wiring harness, NO additional wires, and NO adapter ring. I intend to do a review of this new system for the next Vintage Bulletin.

Ben, I was not aware of this one! I am a member of VMOA so I will wait patiently to read the article in the next bulletin and see how this new "prototype" fairs out against the one supplied by Motorad Elektrik
