Some people have e-mailed me re. my R27 12 volt conversion using /5 alternator parts,asking if it would work on R26 and older singles.
I am presently working on a conversion for R26 with a well qualified friend.
This may be suitable for older bikes also.
It will use an external coil like the R27 but the points will be inside the front cover.
