plunger rear suspension
plunger rear suspension
Could someone advise me on how to remove the rear shocks from a 1951 plunger frame. I removed the driveshaft, wheel and top shock nut, and loosened the remaining bolts. Many thanks. Scott
Re: plunger rear suspension
You have to tap out the big center pin from the BOTTOM out through the top. There is a fellow that makes this drift specifically for the plunger. Go to "beemergarage.com" and click on factory tools.
Re: plunger rear suspension
I used an old 1/2" drive socket of the appropriate OD and a long extension instead of the special tool.
Good luck,
