Hi,
Could anyone tell me if the 1934 R2 series 3 gas tank was painted blue on top similiar to the 1931 R2? It appears from some of the black and white photos I've seen that 1932 to 1934 R2s had a slightly less humpback tank yet a blue painted top between the pinstripes. And from 1935 the tank was redesigned to the longer, lower tank and painted all black. I could also use an overhead photo of the pinstripes or a good description of size and where they go.
