Help!!
Does anyone out there know how to remove the (carden bell cover) from the drive shaft?

Hi Don
The flange has to be pressed off with a hydraulic press and using adequate support to remove and replace the bell cover. The shaft must be pressed exactly in the middle using a suitable drift otherwise you will mushroom it and destroy it. Get a professional to do it for you. The two parts must be measured and marked before you press it apart so that you know how much to press it together again. Be prepared to go up to 8 to 10 tons to press it apart. By reassembly, use copper slip on the parts so that they don't seize together when pressing together. Assembly usually takes 4 to 6 tons.
