NEED R68 ENGINE PARTS

I'm in looking for all internal parts for a R68, does anybody out there know where I can get this parts. The only thing I have is the engine bos and one cilynder and head. Any suggestions will be appreciate, thanks.

Hi tom
I think you could use all internals from a R69/s motor
with low compression pistons.

Tom...the R69S motor is useful as regards the heads, and cylinders, but what you really need to find is an R69 motor, made from 1955 to 1960. The way you can tell is that the R69 motor has the slot for the manual advance cable in the timing chest cover. The R68 and the R69 motors are exactly the same. I've done this swap without problems. The cam, flywheel, crank, manual advance are all directly transferrable between the two motors...Stephen
