R60 - shock absorbers

Hello:

I own a BMW R60/2 1966 model with Earles fork and I am rebuilding the front and rear shock absorbers. I would need to know: type, weight and volume of the oil for these shocks.
Thank you in advance for your answers.

To the best of my knowledge the original shocks are not rebuildable. Koni has stopped producing replacements but some dealers may have old stock left. There is a thread on the Yahoo boards (vintagebmwmotorcycles, and slash2) concerning replacements that may be available soon.
Good luck,
Drew

Konis are no longer made, and the supply is probably gone. The Huggett catalog still lists a shock - maybe it is some other brand like Boge. I think Huggett said they have taken over the Koni design and are making Koni replacements, and I also heard that EuroTech is also having replacement shocks made in California (http://www.eurotech-motorsports.com/).

Allan is correct...Eurotech is having Works Performance custom build a few hundred pairs, per Chris at Eurotech.
