I'm restoring a Steib S501 sidecar, manufactured in 1962. The bodywork is now completed, and ready to be painted.
Does anyone know what the pin stripes should be either side of the aluminium strips?
I've seen photos of one strip and also one thick and one thin etc.
What is correct and what is the thickness of the stripes.

Hi Bob,
Steib has produced sidecars for a lot of bikes (BMW, NSU) and so Steib has taken the strips for the specific bike, for BMW a thick one with 5 mm and a small one with 1,5mm with a distance of 4 mm.
