Despite of new Battery (29 Ah), new Diode-Plate, Police-Regulator and overhaul of Generator, I have the problem, that my Battery loses Power after 2 months of daily use similarly in all my 3 Models: R 60 / 5, R 100 RS and R 80 RT. Is there any possibility of having a stronger Generator or so? I am driving the bikes in everyday use, mostly in town, rarely on the motorway, also in Winter, when the problem gets worse. Driving without lights makes it slightly better, but is no solution. What do all the people with handle-bar-heating and extra headlights do? There must be a solution! (Or am I the only one who does not travel on long distance all the time, where the problem does not occur)?

I had a /6 and then a /7 between 1976-1998, and I always connected the batteries to a solid state battery tender when the bikes were in the garage.
