R69s frame no. question

I have an R 69s frame only with it's coresponding 6 digit numbers. Could someone tell me where I can go to find out information for it's production date/ year? Thanks in advance! Ruben

But to find out exactly when your serial number was made, you must send an email to the BMW Historical Archives at Historisches.Archiv @ bmw.de. If the address does not show completely, try:

R69S production : from 1960 until 1969
Frame numbers : from 655004 to 666320

I was very informative. Another great guy by the name of Allan, gave me the web address for BMW HistoricalArchives. Basically, I also wanted to see if I can have this frame re-titled, therefore the exact year it was made ,would be the best information I can get. Again, many many thanks Michael! Ruben
