Some publications state that there was a Bing carburetor as an alternate to the standard Amal carburetor on prewar R51 twins. Does anyone know what model this was? Picture or specs?

I have a whole library on pre- and post-war BMWs but can fin no reference to alternate Bing carburettors.

Following on from my last message, yes, BMW DID list alternative Bing carburettors to their Amal-Fischers! they were:

BING AJ 1/22
