R27 restoration completed

Attached is a photo of my 1966 R27. It was abandoned under a beach house in 1975. In 1986 it was sold and taken apart. The parts changed hands a couple of times, since no one dared to undertake the restoration. I bought the rusty pieces in October 1998 for $600. The restoration is now completed, thanks to many, many parts from Huggett GmbH and a skillful local BMW rebuilder.

Congratulations Allan! Could you post the photo again,
as it appears to be a corrupted file. I'd love to see your bike.
What is your next project? Thanks, Dave.

I emailed the pictureto the mailing list of my local BMW club, and to myself, and it worked alright as an attached file. Maybe it was not a web-quality file. I will email it to you.
