What should the valve keepers on my 1959 r60 look like? 1 line, 2 lines or no lines on the inside?

Hi Trevor,

The valves on your R60 would have been non-rotating when manufactured, i.e. they would have had plain cotters (I assume these are what you mean by "keepers"?) Rotating valves may have been fitted since then, in which case the stem ends wiould have two annular grooves with cotters to match.
