Drivers saddle R60

My 1959 R60 is in good unrestored condition, it was delivered new to USA. I have a new drivers saddle to fit in lieu of dual seat. It has no lugs on frame for seat front pivot. Was this usual for USA? Can someone give me a dimensioned sketch to weld the lugs on? I live well away from major population centres in Australia and the closest similar bike is 270km away.
