Copies of the pre-war BMW inverted levers are currently being fitted NEW on Chang Jiang 750cc side-valve bikes supplied by: John Lawes, BEMW, 2 Forman Street, Derby, DE1 1JQ, England. Tel: 01332 298 523 and 01332 824 334 (w/ends).

These levers have ball ends that can easily be removed and profiles to look just like the originals.
I recemtly fitted a set to an R5 restoration and they look and operate just fine.

If you use the original BMW parts catalogue to identify the correct part numbers, you will find those levers right here on this web site in the on-line shop. They are the best quality and forged unlike the rest of the rubbish on the market.
Brake lever assembly complete is 212 1 91 476 0
Clutch lever assembly complete is 212 1 91 486 0
