Mark,
I could not find nipples in your catalogue
How much for the brass (assume they are nickel plated) and how much for the steel.

Thanks again

Also, do the M4 spokes fit in the original M3.5 nipples?

Hi Pierre
You can also use an alphabetical search function in our online catalogue. Just type in "nipple" under description and you will find it.
The M4 nipple has the number 07 11 9 930 070.

We don't differentiate between steel or brass nipples. Important is that they are nickel plated.

Pierre,

Does a 4mm rod fit into a 3,5mm hole, or does an M5 nut fit on an M6 screw?

Mark,

Can you thread a 4mm spoke to fit a 3.5mm nipple?

Pierre,

You could, if you have no regard for your own safety.
Reducing the thread size would create undue stress at
the point where the threads end. You don't want spokes
snapping loose at any speed. Spend the money for the
proper nipples.

Dave

Dave,

I was only responding to Mark's analogy!

Pierre,

Sorry, no offense intended. There are some knuckleheads
out there who would try that!

Dave
