Fueltank R25/2

Does a fueltank of a R25/2 fit on a R51-R51/2-R51/3-R67-R68 ????

Hi Conny
No it will not fit without substantial modification, as the 25" tank is much shorter and smaller. Why would you want to fit it anyway? If you intend making a chopper out of the twin, I can understand the question.

Hi Mark,
thanks for your quick response, the answer is . . because i can't find a tank for a R51/? model that i can pay, they are so expensive and i saw a tank for a R25/2 for just 500DM

Hi get in touch I have one ,it looks good did not stip the paint off ,But i am willing to strip it and repair it as long as you do not use it for anything else but restoring a Bmw to original.

Not easy to follow you ; I am looking for a R51/3 fuel tank in order to restaure my bike ; at the present time it is bad fitted with a R50 fuel tank ; has somebody a R51/3's ?
