Hello Michele,
I've been using Metzler ME77 in the 100/90-18 size on the front and rear of my R26 and I'm very happy with them. Although the tire is labeled "front" I was advised by Bob's BMW that they have been using them for years on the front and rear of /2s. They look right, the ride and handling is very good and the price was right. Isn't the Block K intended for use with sidecars?
Regards, Dave

Hi Dave,
Block K is for sidecar use, and Block C is the front tire for old BMW. I was told that Continental TK22 RC (in production) hasa tremendous grip (also on the wet !!) , and don't know if that is true.
The internet Metzeler catalog has the 3.50 18 Block C , but I cannot be able to find it in Italy, may be it isn't imported.
So I decidet to try the continental... anyone has just tested it?
(I am talking of a daily use of the bike)
Thanks
Michele

How many KM/Miles can you expect to get out of the Metzeler C's? Does anyone know?

I have no idea, I have never used them.
I use to put on my R50 Michelin M38 3.50/18 bot front and rear and they show , after 10.000 km, no signs of wear.
I would like to change them to have more wet grip.
