R51/3 front forks;

Are the telescopic forks on the 51/2 identical to those on the 51/3? Can I exchange between them? Thanks – Michael.

Identical, not exactly, but interchangable, yes. The 1951-2 R51/3 front end is almost exactly the same, the 1953-4 type looks quite a bit different, but also will interchange with the R51/2. The fenders are also very similar, but not exactly the same. Good luck
