I have a 1966 R69S (S/N 661432) which was bought originally by a Canadian serving in the army, in Germany. he had all sorts of neat options, one of them being a racing VDO tach (shows 10,000 rpm).unlike others i have seen, this one was built right into the headlamp housing beside the speedo. It's a very nice layout, but does anyone else know of this mod as a factory option?
It also has an aluminum alloy fairing (hoske?) which is unique in that it has an adjustable windscreen panel - up and down. Again, anyone out there know of this - i have not.
