Hi. I intend to buy tire removing levers and noticed that there are in general 2 types: edged ones and rounded spoons-like ones. Which are better for my bike (R51/3)? Should I buy 2 or 3? I forgot to mention that I need compact ones, something I can take with me to the road. Thanks.
Michael.
What kind of tire levers should I buy?

The short levers that come with the BMW toolkits are the best I have found. They are smooth, properly hooked, and fit in the tool pouches.
Even better are the longer BMW levers. I don't remember where I got them. They don't fit in the pouches. I keep one wrapped in a cloth in the tool box, in order to have 3 tire levers. Fortunately I have never had a flat on the road.
I use 3 of the longer BMW levers in the garage for changing tires. The 3 levers plus the extra leverage makes tire changing much easier.
