R51 vs R51/2 ignition

I was looking at a replacement for my R51/2 ignition and found one for a R51 on ebay. But it looked liked is was mirrored. The control cable exiting on the right hand side instead on the left.
Is the picture on ebay wrong? Or is this one of the more subtle difference between the R51 and R51/2? And last, but not least if they are mirrored, will it fit my R51/2?

Thanks,

Marco

The ignitions with the advance cable on the right are from an R6/61/66/71 (or Russian/Chinese eqivalent).

I cannot tell you if they can be reversed without one in my hand....which won't be for 2 weeks.

I bought the R71 ignition but decided against fitting it. I realised that as the cable is on the other side the timing goes the other way around! It's not all waste as I could use most parts to rebuild the old ignition.

They are reversable. Looking at my R51-71 Handbuch, there is an illustration of an R6/71/66 ignition with the cable on the left.
