No questions at this moment, just a picture. I just completed the restoration of my R27 (almost, that is; I guess with a classic or vintage bike there is always something left to fix). Mark asked me to put a picture up in this forum.

Hello Stephan,
Wow! Nice restoration, and nice photograph. Thanks for posting it.
What switch did you use for your indicators? And are your hub caps
(the large ones) chromed or?
Best wishes, Dave

I bought the switch from Mark. And yes, the hub caps are chromed.

Great picture - correct me if I am wrong but it looks like Indonesian number plates.
Was the work done there ?

Its a real beauty you get there.
I live in the nothernmost city in the world (Hammerfest in Norway) and own an R-27 who is completly "original" in Norwegian Civil Defence trim (ironplate under the engine low end, protection for the frontlamp-in chrome and decals on the front mud-guard). Its a low-miler with good chrome and painting buth with the "real unrestored look".
I will came back with a picture of my own bike in original trim.
My own bike is equipped with a long seat (sadle?) but they look much better with solo-seats, so i someone now about soloseat i will be very glad i they tell me.
