dear friend,
I have a Hella electronic direction flasher n° 4AZ 003 787 -011 (10-110 W 6V.)
and I would like to use it in my R50's hella blinkers.
It as 4 contacts instead of 2 and no wirinh diagram;
the contact are named :
-31
+49
CP
49a

How must I do the connections ? The BMW wiring diagrams talk of 2 contacs : 54 and 15 .
which is the equivalent ?
thanks for the help.
michele

Might this be an automotive flasher? The four connections would probably be for the front
and rear signal sets. Using the Hella bar end signals on the bike, you only
need two connections. An inexpensive flasher relay goes for about $5 American and will
probably work forever.

My memory fails me as to the exact method of making the connections and they
wouldn't be the same for your type of flasher unit.

-31=Earth(-Battery)
CP= control-light (you don"t need it)
+49=ignition=15/54 (voltage by ignition on)
49a= to the blinkerswitch
