Were any R68s ever produced in white? I thought that white was an optional color on
later models but not on the R68. I thought I'd check and see if there were any special
colors for batch orders such as police, military etc. Given the limited production this
would probably be a long shot, but I thought I'd ask.

I dont think that any police force ordered R 68's. I have never seen a white R 68 but it could be beautiful. Mine was painted in the 60ties in black, pinstripes in silver instead of white and part chromed Meier petrol tank. Purists dont like it but it looks definitely more sparkling then just B/W.The R 68 is a brilliant machine!

Bluemoon Cycle had or has a R68 for sale which is white or cream. It looked like the original paint but I can't be sure since it didn't have the correct front fender. There may still be a picture of it on their website under bikes for sale.
