I'm hoping someone has a complete list of absolutely every set of bearings required for a '66 R69S. I'm doing a complete restoration and I'm going to replace the works. I'll be going with tapered bearing where appropriate. Please let me know. Many thanks.

Hi Dale,
All bearing numbers with their tolerance of standard bearings are listed in the original BMW parts catalogue which should be your bible. Part number is 01 09 9 099 161. However, you must be very carefull on certain bearings eg. the 3304 on the pinion of the bevel gears. Standard bearings have a ball race angle of 30 degrees and plastic cage which will not last 2000km. The 3304 used by BMW is non standard nowadays, has a steel cage and 45 degree race angle. There are a few such examples which turn out costly in the end when the mechanic is trying to save a few bucks,
