what does the 1x crossed mean in the description for rims. Is the 2.5 x 18 part 36314038220 steel rim Italien or Shurmann? My shop manual recommends using 2.15B in front and 2.75C in rear for sidecar operation. Would 2.5 and 3.0 be ok?

The early swinger model twins from 1955 till about 1957 had a different spoke configuration. The spokes were 126mm long and were crossed only once (spoke pattern) thereafter the angle was changed requiring a longer spoke (140mm and crossed twice) and therefore also different rim and wheel hubs.
