R27 and Mikuni Carbs

Does any one have experience in fitting a mikuni carby to an R27?

John,

A freind of mine, fitted the carburetor of a «Spacy» scooter on is R27.
It was not so easy to install. He as to machine three adapters (as well as the choke and trottle command) before it get something efficient.
But since then, he his very happy of the result.
His R27 as never been so easy to start, and so smooth to ride.
As a matter of fact, and in spite of laborious studies and trials of jets, so far his bike drink slightly more with the «spacy» carby then he does with the /5 carby (which is 2.5 l/100km).

Unfortunately, this freind doesn't speak english, and he his not on the web.
