Do you have any hair left or have you pulled it all out? I finaly got a feeler gauge in there and the news is not great. The front slinger is about 1.1mm from the carrier and the rear is about 1.3 to 1.4 mm from the case. The rear gap on mine just looks twice as big but is much closer. My rods are very close to centre of the bores, I just can't get an acurate measurment to be sure but they sure look centerd. You need to talk to someone who knows more than me ( that's a lot of people). Try emailing Mark directly or Duane at w6rec@softcam.rec or Kees at bmwkees@yahoo.com or Ed at edkorn@usa.net . All these guys know way more about /2 cranks than I do.
good luck

Hi garnet,

You are so kind with me. I've already spoke with Ed Korn and Vech. I've removed the crankshaft and I made a proper spacer. I will assemble the engine these days and I will let you know.
Best regards, Razvan
