R12's gaskets

I was desassembling the R12's motor, and the cover's cylinder have two gaskets, one in 1,5 mm, in solid aluminium and the second one, fiber cover by cooper.
Twin cylinders where in that condition, two gasket´s each one.

Is it right?

You should have one gasket per cylinder head. They can be solid copper or a fiber covered material with copper inner rings. There is a place here in the USA that will sell you R12 copper gaskets for $80. Its called the gasket works in Durate, CA.
