I am restoring a R 25/2 with 19 inch wheels. Camn anyone give me some tips and the lacing pattern?

Contact Buchanan's at http://www.buchananspokes.com/ and discuss your project - the bike, the kind of rims, the length and number of spokes. They will probably know what spokes and nipples you need and ship them to you.

It would help to have a wheel stand to hold the wheel while you true and balance it:

It is also important to have a sleeve to restrain the bearing - if the wheel is just placed on the axle, the weight of the wheel will press on the top of the tapered bearing and slightly spread it within the seals, allowing the whole wheel to sag downward a tiny fraction of an inch. This will impair the precision of the balancing.
