Sidestand for R60

How does the sidestand (Part no.46 53 9 024 011.1) listed for the R50 - R69 fit to the bike?
Is it via an engine or footrest mount? I don't wan't to start welding a lug to my newly painted frame!

Hi Roger,

It is slotted in between motor and frame instead of the two 10mm spacers. Its the best product on the market as far as we are concerned. There are no modifications to be made.

Does the sidestand actually WORK on the R-60/2? The bike always fell over on the stock stand!

Yes the side stand does work,...and very well at that. I'd put my head in an oven if it did'nt.
