Valve Cover Question

Will and R69S valve cover fit on a R50 head? I've seen the reverse..with an
R50S cover on an R60, which would seem to suggest it's possible. But
I wanted to make sure I'm not overlooking something.

The R69S head is slightly bigger than the R50/R50S/R60 heads which are all exactly the same size. I have not tried but Im sure that it won't fit.

The R-69S valve cover is longer and has fewer fins. It will not fit on an R-50 or R-60 head. (the R-50 and R-60 heads are interchangeable)

the R50S covers looks like the 69/S covers(but with less coolfins)but they has the same shape for the valve cover gasket as the "non sports" models(these 50S covers are very rare).The 69/S covers had another shape(how Frank and Drew said).
Short: you can take 50S covers(if you get them)for your R50-R60 heads, but not the R69/S covers.
