I'm looking for performance brakes for /2's. I understand Hoske manufactured some
/2 reacing hubs and brakes during the 1960's. Does anyone know if these are being
remanufactured? Does anyone know of an ORIGINAL set for sale? Does anyone know
any other alternatives?

I had some modern-material linings installed on the shoes of my R26 and I'm really happy with them. The performance is far superior to the oem linings. Real brakes! Unfortunately I can not find any paperwork with information on the source. I remember the guy had an ad in either Old Bike Journal or the VBMWMO club bulletin, but I can't find it. I think it was about $50.00 with shipping to have 4 shoes relined. The guy did a great job with a quick turn-around.
