Die Probleme hören nicht auf...
Beim Versuch, die Zündung einzustellen (nach Unterbrecherwechsel) stelle ich fest, dass sich die Unterbrecherplatte nicht weiter verschieben lässt, dadurch kann die notwendige Spätzündung nicht eingestellt werden. Kann so was sein? Kann ich die vorhandenen Langlöcher einfach etwas vergrößern? Wer weiss Rat?

I understand you replaced the points, need to retard the timing, but cannot turn the points plate any further.
Perhaps you need to set the gap of the points again. If the gap is very incorrect, it can affect the timing so much that the timing cannot be corrected within the travel limits of the points plate.
