Hi,
I recently acquired an R60/2 , and I noticed that the Ball Head Stud Mounting, located at the right side rear section loop of the frame (welded- on), had been chopped off. I was wondering if someone can tell me where I can get them. I believe the part number listed on the BMW Auxiliary Catalog was: 46514000134 or 46514000136 for R26 &27 models. Thanks in advance. Ruben

I see this ball in the Huggett catalog with no price, so I guess it is not available. I have not seen them available elsewhere, either. Perhaps you will have to find a wrecked frame from which to take a ball.
I think only the Ural and Steib sidecars have claws that attach to the two lower ball mounts on /2 BMWs. All the other sidecars mount to eyes that clamp to the BMW frame near the balls. So if you do not plan to use a Ural or Steib sidecar, maybe you do not need any balls.
