Hi,
I just finished a r50s 1962 and it is giving me electrical problems.
My mechanic tells me is because I bouht a 6V 10Am batterie and sjould had got a 13Am one.
is this possible?

The lower amp hour battery will not contribute to any problem other than less storage capacity. The bike should run the same and the lights and horn should work the same, it will just not idle at full brightness as long . The battery does act as a tank for power, if the tank is smaller, you have to move the power through it more often to get the same output that a larger battery would allow at idle discharge. I would look at my generator or regulator if I have a brightness or charging problem. Since the R50S is magneto sparked, the battery has no effect on the ignition.
