Hi,
Im looking for any information regarding the MZ electronic ignition system.Have any of you ever try it on the road?Do you think that it is a good option to convert the bike with that kit?
It looks pretty good to me but i want your opinion before i spend 360 euros.

I fit the first unit designed by MZ to my R25/3.
The generator worked fine but the ignition would not advance fully (they were experimenting with different advance curves)They sent me a second advance unit and it works much better. They said that future production would incorporate further advancement. In summary it works well, it is cleaner , no brushes nor springs or points to wear out. give my regards to Edgar and ask him to send me an ignition control unit with the latest advance for me to test for you.Best regards Walter.
