To where do people recommend I send my entire front electrical component (generator, dynamo...) removed from my 1957 R26 for restoration in the US? It needs a complete overhaul, and I have removed it from the front of the engine block.

The following place in Alabama is famous for such work on BMW airheads. You would have to ask Rick if he does it for your specific old bike.
