/2 Rocker Arm Weep Holes
Posted: Thu 9. Dec 1999, 21:37
I'm going to be as descriptive as I can, because I don't know the exact part numbers and
this is a situation where SEEING is much better than reading about it.
Is there a correct position for the rocker arm weep holes on a /2?
There is a brass cylinder which fits inside the rocker. It has a pinhole, which "weeps"oil.
If you are looking at the rocker straight on, it is sometimes visible through
the eyelet of the rocker. Should it always be visible? Does it matter? By the rocker eyelet
I mean the small holes on the front of the rocker, not the hole on the top which you can
prime with oil.
Any help would be appreciated.
