polarization

I have an R26 with an "aftermarket" voltage regulator that will not polarize by itself. It
has to be polarize after each start in order to generate. Any suggestions on how I could solve
this situation will be appreciated.

Hi Bruce
I tried to contact the manufacturer last week, but they were closed due to an extended Easter. Today, 1st May is also a public holiday in Europe. I will call them tomorrow and ask them were the problem may lay.
