Rear Suspension - R 25/3
Rear Suspension - R 25/3
Can anyone tell me how to remove the rear plungers from the frame ?
Re: Rear Suspension - R 25/3
Hallo,
1. unsrew the big, chromed nut and all other srews
2.you have to remove the long metaltube(inside the spring) by knocking with a hammer an another metaltube(with a diameter 1 or 2 mm less[more little]) from the bottom and then (normally) grip the tube at the top and remove it by throwing it with little turnings.Attention:
some 25/3 had a extra screw , which fixed the tube underneath,it was screwed inside the tube(SW 22 or 24, I do not know exactly in the moment).
3. press the spring by hand, and remove the plunger by turning it a little bit to the outerside of the frame.
if there are some difficulties (with my english or by doing it), ask again.
